Since November 2018, Design Vaults has supported the ‘Art at the Heart RUH‘ initiative. Art at the Heart supports the RUH Bath with an award winning art and design programme that stimulates healing and well-being and creates an uplifting environment for patients, visitors and staff. Design Vaults sells selected collections in the main corridor within the RUH and to date, through jewellery sales, has contributed over £300 to the Art at the Heart programme.
The RUH has one of Bath’s largest and most accessible exhibition spaces, open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. The hospital exhibits a variety of work by both amateur and professional artists and arts organisations, in order to enhance the environment and improve the experience for patients, staff and visitors.
In addition to the public areas, the RUH sells and arranges artwork for display in wards and departments. Most importantly, a third from all sales made goes to the RUH Arts Fund, helping to continue the invaluable work the team do for the RUH Trust.
